"The Secret of change is to focus all of your energy not on fighting the old but on building the new"
Rachel grew up in the San Francisco Bay area. Growing up without a father and in a family environment fraught with addiction issues, her childhood had its share of challenges. When the opportunity to move to New York City presented itself, she took it and moved there in 2003. Once there, she made lifelong friends, graduated college with honors, and embarked on a successful career in financial services.
Motivated to create her own wealth and not be defined by her past, she became hyper-focused on her career. By her mid twenties, she was managing a team, setting company records, and receiving performance awards. She was well respected within her company and amongst her peers. While these accomplishments were fulfilling, it came at a price to her physical and mental health.
It was then that Rachel knew that she needed to make serious changes in her life. After a lot of soul searching, Rachel eventually got the courage to leave her six-figure paying job and start a new chapter in her life. She began her journey to learn about how to achieve sustainable health, wellness, and balance by enrolling at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition.
Today, Rachel is a certified life + business coach. She helps her clients harness their unique skills and talents in healthy and sustainable ways, which leads to peak performance and greater fulfillment in their personal and professional lives. Through a transformative process, she helps her clients identify and break through the self limiting beliefs, maladaptive behaviors, and blind spots that are holding them back from achieving their life goals. Her coaching modalities include perspective and mindset shifting, behavior modification, stress management, mindfulness, business strategy planning, communication skills training, and relationship management. Because the COVID-19 pandemic has created barriers for face to face interactions, Rachel is available to conduct client meetings via Zoom.
